The entry hall is enriched with millwork. The custom wool runner adds warmth. Three dimensional contemporary art adds wow and an eclectic contrast.

One of 2 vanities (his and hers). One of 2 skylights. The door mysteriously leads out to a small roof. The custom box below the towel warmer houses the steam shower mechanicals.

Overview from door. Restored original 1905 casement windows with tempered glass. The space is long (116" at the shower and 110" at the vanity) and narrow (88" at the shower and vanity, narrowing to 57" at the window). Ceiling height varies from 87" to 34".

Bold, bright and organized. Slim slide-out range hood exhausts to the exterior.

The two main work zones (prep and clean up + cooking) are separate enough for 2 people to comfortably work at the same time. Cabinet to the right of the sink houses the pullout recycling, compost and trash bins. The large triple casement at the sink consists of a center stationary panel plus 2 operating side windows (with traditional grill pattern) for ventilation. The retro style ceiling fan is small but powerful. Modern farmhouse style includes farm sink, Shaker cabinet doors with simple crown molding, backsplash subway tile, blue and white porcelain star floor tile, wood countertop, retro enamel sconce and pendant. New mudroom shelves seen beyond the doorway to the left. Kombucha in process to the right of the sink window.

Modern kitchen of unique materials featuring the blue agate stone accent counter incorporated with the white quartz counter top. The island is 5 x 16ft full-fulling the counter and storage requirements client needed. Interesting shapes in the linear curved chandelier above the island as requested by the wife for "a bit of glitz" and she was fully engaged in the design. Note the semi-circular exhaust hood over the stove and the irregular cut glass backsplash for mixture of shapes as well as the contrasting Espresso tone Wenge wood used for island base and post and lintel design of the wall cabinetry. This Kitchen is an addition to the home creating a fulfilled dream.

A cast iron bathtub was replaced with a zero entry shower.
